Our Mission at Point on Archery is to get kids and adults a like involved in both indoor and outdoor activities year round. Archery is an individual team sport that not only encourages competition and discipline on a personal level but also encourages teamwork and good sportsmanship.
S3DA is an nation wide organization for your archers from grades 3-12. They encourage youth archers to compete in 3 different Categories, Field Archery, 3d Archery and Indoor Archery. Each is a unique discipline and offers different challenges for archers. All 3 categories allow for all archers from beginners to advanced to compete. They also accommodate multiple classes for both re-curve and compound bows. Each Competitor is grouped with similar age groups and classes to ensure competition is fair. The high school division is also awarded scholarships that can be used for higher education after high school Scholarships are awarded at both the state and national level of competition. S3DA offers competition with archers from all over South Carolina as well as the United States and World.
USA Archery offers an additional level of competition. Allowing archers to compete not just during school age but also during college. This also allows kids to try out for the Junior Olympics to earn a spot to represent the US in the junior Olympics.
Junior Archers Program
Our Junior Archers program is currently in development but will offer archers of a younger age that do not meet age requirements to begin honing there skills at a younger age so that when they are old enough to begin competing in S3da and USA Archery they will already have begun training and have basic skills to get started. They will have a much more relaxed schedule and be allowed to compete in local Archery club competitions for fun.
Adult Archer Program
We allow adults to also participate in fun shoots that we go to with club members. We also offer private and group lessons for adults that would like to learn archery for the first time or to get more tips and advice for more advanced archers.
