Jonas Sewell

Coach Jonas Sewell is a native of North Georgia, raised out in country and was given his first bow by his Uncle Jack at age 6. He has had bows in his hands ever since.

As both a competitive compound and recurve shooter, he is also an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He currently competes in national ASA tournaments in the traditional class, shooting a Bear Archery one piece wooden longbow. While he loves to compete and will continue to throughout his life, he has turned his main focus to teaching the next generation his love for the sport and hunting discipline.

He has spent the last 10 years taking his two sons (both founding members of Point-On Archery) and any of their friends who would come along to archery tournaments all over the state. 

Coach Jonas is a USA Archery Level 3 NTS Coach and Advanced Instructor with S3DA and the Regional Coordinator for S3DA for the Midlands region of South Carolina.  He has worked in numerous fields over the course of his life ranging from a Youth Pastor to a Demolition specialist and farmer. He has a love for teaching and a passion to help foster personal growth and development in his students.
